Sex Kits at Public Parks: A Rexburg Ballot Initiative
The City of Rexburg has declined to present a new city ordinance rooted in Title 18. In response, community members are presenting their own initiative.
(See What Happened in St. George, Utah? for Pt. 2.)
The first video in this article is called “A History of Drag.” It is recording of a formal presentation to the Rexburg City Council on June 7th by Rexburg resident Kelly McKamey.
The second is Kelly Mckamey’s response to the Rexburg City Council’s inaction nearly a month later, on July 5th.
For those who haven’t heard, around 100 members of the local community attended a City Council meeting in Rexburg, Idaho on June 7th.
On the agenda was a presentation and proposal for a new city ordinance - one that focuses on protecting children from witnessing "Drag Queens" performances in "the public square."
As a preface to his proposal, Rexburg resident Kelly McKamey presented a brief history of "Drag" which framed his argument and established a lawful need for further legal attention on this issue from the city council, mayor, and attorney.
McKamey’s presentation showed “[t]he Drag Queen Pedagogy also states their primary purpose is to introduce Queer Theory to little children so they can learn & accept it as normal. The purpose behind this is to "normalize" queer behavior for little children, making them more accepting of being sexually active and accepting sexually queer behavior as normal at a young age.”
McKamey’s presentation traced the connection between several currents of history:
The first recorded “drag queen” in 1860’s;
the sexual revolution of the 1960’s and the Stonewall Riots;
the foundation of “queer theory” by Michel Foucalt in the 1970’s and his influence on the work of Judith Butler and Sara Hankins in the 1980’s;
and ending with the modern efforts of Harris Kornstein to popularize “drag” performances for children through event such as “Drag Queen Story Time.”
The crux of McKamey’s presentation asserted that the “Drag Queen” movement is a form of “grooming.” McKamey formally requested that the City Council, mayor, and attorney craft a city ordinance based on existing “injury to children” and obscenity laws such as Title 18.
PRIDE IN THE PARK
Notably, on June 10th, after all was said and done, a group called "Mass Resistance" discovered that a Rexburg health clinic had packaged "sex-kits" and distributed them to attendees at the LGBTQ celebration at Porter Park, on a day when the park was filled with children and minors.
According to many informed sources and eyewitnesses, "Pride in the Park" has the potential (and possibly the intention) to evolve into a deliberate and public sexual exhibition, like we see in Seattle or in San Fransisco - (hence the need for "sex-kits" in the first place.)
Following McKamey’s presentation, about 20 members of the local community stood for public comment, voicing support for decisive action by the city against the “Pride in the Park” event scheduled for June 10th. In response, the mayor and members of the City Council stated they would look into the issue and consider McKamey's proposal.
UPDATE: As of July 5th, the Rexburg City Council has declined to pursue the proposal or enact any new ordinance pertaining to this subject matter. In response, Kelly McKamey has announced his intention to pursue a ballot initiative to bring an ordinance before the public.
July 11th statement from Kelly McKamey:
“One month ago I gave a presentation to the Rexburg City Council; it was on the history of the Drag Queen movement and their stated goal of destroying the innocence of children.
The Drag Queen Pedagogy also states their primary purpose is to introduce Queer Theory to little children so thay can learn & accept it as normal. The purpose behind this is to "normalize" queer behavior for little children, making them more accepting of being sexually active and accepting sexually queer behavior as normal at a young age.
I asked the Rexburg City Council to pass an ordinance to protect children from being indoctrinated with queer theory, and to prevent Drag Queen shows & Drag Queen story-time from being presented to children.
Simple. I even presented them with potential wording for the ordinance.
Not to prevent Drag Queen debauchery from happening at all - just to protect our children & grandchildren from being GROOMED by the sexual deviants that are becoming so pervasive in our immediate social culture.
Nope. They refuse to do anything. No ordinance - not even a statement from the CC denouncing the wicked trend of exposing young children to queer theory. Total absence of taking a stand to protect children. And they smile while they sit and do nothing.
Rexburg Cith Council & Mayor:
Jordan Busby. Father, public school vice-principal.
Colin Erickson. Father, retired police officer.
Tisha Flora. Mom.
Mikel Walker. Father, retired all-around nice guy.
Bryanna Johnson. Mom.
Robert Chambers. BYUI Religious Studies chair (teaches the Doctrines of Christ?) former Area Authority Seventy for the LDS Church.
Jerry Merrill. Father, grandfather. Mayor.
These individuals have CHOSEN to do nothing to protect children in Rexburg from queer theory and being groomed for deviant sexual purposes!!

Tell them Thanks for not protecting children! Thanks for not taking a stand against the wickedness pervading our community! Thanks for doing absolutely nothing!
The cries of innocent children in our community are now on their hands as much as on the hands of those doing the grooming. They are in a position where they could do something...and they choose to do nothing.
Weak. No moral fiber. No Christian Courage. No commitment to protecting children.
Pitiful. Disgusting. Shameful.

“Last evening my wife & I attended the Paramount Theater and watched "Sound of Freedom" starring Jim Caviezel. The story about Tim Ballard and O.U.R.
If you haven't seen this powerful movie that illustrates the evils of child sex trafficking, you MUST go!
While Rexburg may not have the overwhelming problem with child sex trafficking, WE DO have a problem with children being groomed for sexual purposes, as well as child sexual abuse in Rexburg.
And the Rexburg Mayor & City Council refuse to take any steps to prevent it and/or stop it from happening. They are afraid to take a courageous step as Christians to defend those unable to defend themselves.
They had no problem spending $90,000 on a feasibilty study for an over-priced recreation center...yet they cower in fear over preventing child abuse.
"We want a rec center!" They in effect say.
"Innocent children are being groomed by sexual deviants dressed in drag. Their express purpose is to destroy the innocence of children and expose them to abnormal sexual behavior," I state.
Their response is silence. They choose to do nothing, to pass no city ordinance to help protect children.
They hide behind their fears.
We, the citizens of Rexburg will not hide! We will use the power we have to pass our own city ordinance, using the initiative process provided for in Idaho State Law.
Watch for the local movement of people not afraid to protect children. (Hint: you won't see this movement lead by the Mayor or the City Council.)
You will see this protective movement sponsored by The Millstone Group.”
I noticed the business care from Eastern Idaho Public Health.
They seem obsessed with sex and perversion. They need to be de-authorized in my opinion. (Can't defund them because they don't get their funding from our local governments)
